Our knowledgeable staff is always happy to help with all your writing needs.

Do you have a physical storefront location? Yes, we do! Our boutique is located on Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea and is known as "Pen Haven" among our customers and collectors. We have a vast selection of writing instruments, rare collectibles, fine papers, note cards, journals, inks, seals and seal waxes, and much more. We also offer custom corporate gift programs, including customized leather products and custom pens. We welcome you to visit us online or in person and experience The Pleasure of Writing for yourself.

Can I pick up my order if I live nearby? Yes, you can pick up your order from our Ocean Avenue location. Please give us a call or send us an email in advance to let us know you will be stopping by, and we will have your order ready for you.

What are my payment choices? We accept all major credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as Diner's Club, JCB, and PayPal. We also accept ApplePay payments.

When will my credit card be charged? Your credit card will be charged when we package and ship your order, which is usually the same or next business day.

Do I have to pay sales tax? As of July 2018, California residents will be charged an 8.75% sales tax on orders placed on this website. All other US and international orders are not subject to sales tax.
