S.T. Dupont presents a modern and festive collection to celebrate the Year of the Dragon in the Chinese New Year. The line includes writing instruments (Line D Eternity), lighters (Line 2 and Jet), and cigar accessories. These unique pieces combine boldness, modernity, and timeless beauty.
The Year of the Dragon collection draws inspiration from contemporary artists like Yayoi Kusama and her infamous polka dots and playful dragons from the world of Anime and street art alike. S.T. Dupont master-craftsmen utilize a printed lacquer technique for this collection to animate the colorful dragon portrayed on each pen and lighter.
Available as a multifunction fountain pen/rollerball combination with a newly designed S.T. Dupont 14kt gold nib featuring a “wing design” in F, M, and B nib widths. The fountain pen uses cartridges or fills from a bottle of ink using a converter. The rollerball takes an S.T. Dupont refill (sku# 040840 or 040841).
Line D Eternity Large
The collection features the newly updated “Line D Eternity” large pen; recently remodeled with a new sword articulated clip, a lacquered Dupont 'D' in the crown of the cap and a perfectly balanced shape for exceptional writing. The engraved pen cap closes with Dupont's iconic 'cling' and features a fluted grip section for a superb writing experience.

Guilloche Technique
S.T. Dupont engineers engrave a series of ‘Dragon Scales’ throughout the barrel and cap of each fountain pen using an ‘engine turning’ process that engraves very precise and intricate geometric patterns into an underlying material.
Natural Lacquer
S.T. Dupont's artisans then add layers of natural lacquer to the engraved pen in a months-long process involving many applications and polishing to impart depth and mystery to each finish. The engraved guilloche reflects light through the overlay of natural lacquer, creating a spectacular three dimensional display of color. The result is a collection of precious, hand lacquered writing instruments of exceptional beauty.
