The Pilot Ishime is made from brass, then hand-lacquered to resemble a stone path—a translation of Ishime—using the Kawari-nuri—meaning unique painting—technique. The stone pattern is hand drawn onto the cap and barrel while the lacquer is still wet.
The Ishime sports a #10 18K gold nib and arrives in a pilot gift box.
