In May 2013, for the first time in 60 years, the Buddhist ritual of Dai-Sengu was performed in Taisha, the Izumo Grand Shrine. To celebrate, Platinum created the Yagumonuri which features a sea of clouds, the symbol of Izumo. These Yagumo—thick clouds—are drawn on the ceiling of the Taisha shrine.

The Yagumonuri sports Platinum's 18K gold, two-tone President nib and arrives in a wooden box with a pen kimono and scroll of fountain pen paper.
