Calling to mind an extensive history of traditional Japanese motifs, the Nippon Art Golden Pheasant is simultaneously a testament of the dedication and artistry that goes into each Namiki work of art, and an homage to its cultural heritage and its standing as the premiere Japanese name in fine writing instruments.  This stunning depiction of two pheasants, seemingly locked in combat or perhaps vying for the attention of a mate, rendered of course in hand-painted maki-e is a truly gorgeous effect executed on a remarkable writing instrument.

This Yukari-sized pen has a 14k gold nib in size #10, fills via cartridge/converter (a CON-70 is included), and comes packaged in a wooden box. Each pen takes months to create.

Orders below $150 will be charged the carrier rate calculated at the checkout.   Most orders are shipped within 1 business day.  Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays and deliveries only occur on business days.

We do offer express shipping.  Please note express orders will be shipped out within 1 business day.  Transit time begins when the order ships and does not include holidays and weekends.  Some products are not able to ship express.
