This Montegrappa writing instrument is part of a special collection inspired by the rich tradition of Chinese astrology and their ancient Oriental Zodiac. This series features pens representing each of the twelve animals of this significant zodiac system, where each lunar year is governed by a specific animal.

This particular model showcases the Chinese Lung, commonly known as the Dragon, a symbol of good fortune and auspicious omens. The Dragon is realistically depicted along the pen's barrel through meticulously hand-embellished overlays, creating a three-dimensional effect with exceptional detailing.

This pen is crafted from high-quality, special celluloid-like resin in a marble red color, complemented by sterling silver components. A 952 sterling silver hallmark is located above the blind cap, adjacent to a 1055 VI hallmark.
