This exclusive limited edition of only 88 pieces combines artistry, scientific innovation, and cutting-edge technology. Celebrating Nikola Tesla—an inventor, physicist, and globally acclaimed engineer—who transformed our understanding of energy and pioneered alternating current, wireless power transmission, and foundational technologies of the modern era.

The collection’s design draws inspiration from Tesla’s iconic coils—devices known for producing striking plasma discharges resembling lightning. The barrel and cap feature a distinctive cylindrical form culminating in a toroid, crafted from fluorescent blue resin and meticulously detailed to mimic miniature lightning bolts similar to those generated by the original coils. The body is embellished with raised inscriptions of “Tesla” and “Visconti,” enamelled in lime green, which elegantly contrast against a metallic purple enamel surface, resulting in a sophisticated and refined appearance.

Within the cap’s toroid lies a transparent acrylic disc engraved with Visconti’s “V,” seemingly floating in space—a thoughtful tribute to the invisible physical forces that Tesla sought to reveal.

The pen’s body is accented by three rose gold-plated rings, expertly designed to mimic copper coil windings and placed with precise symmetry—one at the center and two at the ends. It features an 18kt rose gold-plated nib and incorporates Visconti’s patented Power Filler filling mechanism.

The Pleasure of Writing is happy to offer free domestic standard shipping for orders over $150. Orders below $150 will be charged the carrier rate calculated at the checkout.   Most orders are shipped within 1 business day.  Once your order ships, we will e-mail you a tracking number so you may track it at UPS.com or USPS.com. Please note transit times do not include weekends and holidays and deliveries only occur on business days.

We do offer express shipping.  Please note express orders will be shipped out within 1 business day.  Transit time begins when the order ships and does not include holidays and weekends.  Some products are not able to ship express.

International Shipping

The recipient will be responsible to pay any duties or taxes.
