Description
This collection reimagines the traditional peony pattern in the deep, resonant blue characteristic of Japanese indigo. Developed in partnership with the National Library of France, the design is sourced from the archives of Andrew Tuer, a 19th-century English engraver and publisher who was a prolific collector of Japanese patterns and Katagami stencils. The resulting motif serves as a bridge between historical East Asian craftsmanship and European preservation, modernizing a classic aesthetic through a sophisticated, monochromatic lens.
