For nearly two hundred years, the traditional Composition Notebook has remained virtually unchanged. Evolved from the ancient Japanese art of Suminagashi, its unique black and white marbled cover has graced the desks of schoolchildren and scholars, artists and authors.
It has been a top seller for manufacturers since it arrived in the US from France in 1887, due to its approachable, humble nature and its accessibility everywhere school and office supplies can be found.
Now two classics meet.
Introducing the Camden Composition.
A tribute to the heritage of both the Esterbrook Camden and the classic Composition Notebook. The Camden Composition will be offered in two specially engineered finishes in 250 pieces each.
Made from lightweight anodized aluminum with bright silver hardware, the Camden is streamlined and sleek. Designed for ultimate comfort when writing, the Camden features a contoured grip section. The cap bears a stainless steel, spring-loaded clip and an eternity logo emblem on the top. Like its cousin, the Estie, the Camden has Esterbrook's cushion closure cap to keep the nib wet. The Camden is well-balanced with a weight that feels substantial without feeling uncomfortably heavy. Whatever you're writing, the Camden will become a standard in your collection.
The Camden arrives in a stylish gray fabric gift box.
