Pelikan Souverän M800 Indian Ocean

The Indian Ocean marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Pelikan. This distinctive series celebrates the world's oceans through exceptional writing instruments, each drawing inspiration from the unique character of a different ocean. Every two years, a new ocean will take centre stage, unfolding an ongoing journey across the world's waters and showcasing their remarkable diversity, beauty and allure.

At the heart of the Indian Ocean is an exceptional acrylic material, where vivid shades of blue and golden yellow come together to create extraordinary depth and luminosity. Its organic, flowing design reflects the natural movement of the sea, giving each writing instrument an individual appearance. As a result, every piece features its own distinctive pattern, making each one truly unique.

A brilliant polish brings the material to life, enhancing its rich colours and allowing light to play across its surface. Depending on the individual pattern and the angle of the light, the piston mechanism may become subtly visible beneath the acrylic, revealing itself like a hidden treasure beneath the ocean's surface. This fascinating combination of colour, depth and transparency offers something new to appreciate from every angle.

The writing experience is defined by a 18-carat gold nib, delivering the smooth and expressive writing experience for which the Souverän collection is renowned. Complementing the ocean-inspired colours, the premium 24-carat gold-plated trim adds a warm, elegant contrast, while exclusive satin-finished single rings on the cap and filling knob introduce a distinctive detail unique to this edition. Crafted from brass and finished with high-quality 24-carat gold plating, these elements bring an additional layer of refinement.
