The unique cap contains Platinum's innovative "Slip & Seal" mechanism that keeps the ink from drying out in the pen. The newly redesigned nib and feed help regulate the ink flow.

This Chartres Blue edition was inspired by the blue in the stained glass windows of the Chartres Cathedral in France. The windows date to the 11th to 13th century, and are known worldwide for their beauty, especially for their blue, which has inspired this pen.
