Like other entries in the Art Icon series, the Monet features a rendition of one of the artist's paintings on the cap, this time Impression, soleil levant (sunrise) from 1872. These renditions are created using the same natural pigments as the original painting, applied by hand as part of S.T. Dupont's signature lacquer process.
To emphasize the cap, the body features dark dark blue lacquer, offset by gold trims. A copy of Claude Monet's signature is engraved just below the cap.
Limited to 1872 numbered pieces, the Monet Writing Kit includes a passport cover made of genuine cowhide and a fountain pen with a M, 14K gold nib with parts to convert it to a rollerball pen.
Nib Material: 14K Gold
